Christmas in July
Hi everyone,
Beautiful day here in Tasmania, we are still in winter but the days are glorious.
Christmas in July has appeared again and I love making Christmas cards so her is my lastest effort. It doesn't show too well on the photo but I have put a layer of glitter under the red 'border' so that it shows beneath the punched holes. I am entering it into 6 challenges and they are:
Mo's Digital challenge - Chrismas in July
Charisma Cardz - Something with a tail
Paperplay Challenges - Anything goes
Annabelles Stamp Blog - A sketch + bling
Stamp Something - Christmas in July
Totally Papercrafts - Going to the movies (this image brings to mind the 1991 movie 'All I want for Christmas' I think this little chap is more than happy with his gift!
Materials used are:
Image - Mo's Digital Pencil
Coloured with Lyrs Aquacolour
Black holly paper is an old one fromPaper Patch.
I used an EK border punch and the holly was punched with a Francheville punch. The tiny red pearls are from Kaiser and everything else is from my stash.

A little bit different
Hi Everyone,
I thought I would make something a little bit different this time. I wanted something for a man and decided to use my Stampscapes stamps. I don't use them very often because I haven't quite got the technique, but gave it a go and I am happy with the result. I am entering the card into 2 challenges:
Annabelle Stamp Blog - Say it with embossing
Alphabet challenge - M is for Men.
As already mentioned the stamps are Stampscapes and I coloured them with Marvy Brush Markers. I have mounted the image on some vellum which was embossed with Cuttlebug, Birds and Swirls. I used eyelets in the corners and threaded the botton two with a bit of braid. The sentiment is a Making Memories rub on.
Thanks for taking the time to look,

Christmas in July
Hi Everyone,
Another Christmas in July challenge and I am really happy the way this card turned out and will make more in different colours. My camera struggled a little with the white card. The card is for the Cuttlebug Spot challenge which was for a Christmas in July theme. It is just a plain white card embossed with the Cuttlebug, Lace Tree folder and embellished with some Kaiser rhinestones. The ribbon is from my stash and the gifts at the base of the tree were cut with Cricut, Christmas Cheer cartridge. The sentiment is an American Crafts rub on. How simple is that!!

Gardening Theme
Hi everyone,
I don't know about you but I have been doing a lot of work in the garden for the last couple of weeks. Even though it's winter I have got a lot of weeding to do. So what better card to make than a gardening theme. It will fit 3 challenges:

The image is one from Phindy's Place and coloured with Lyra Aquacolour. The paper which I love is from SEI Juliette - My Romeo. I embossed using the Cuttlebug Bloom Dots folder and the pink border was punched with a Martha Stewart border punch.
One again thanks for taking the time to stop and look, till next time,
