Hi Everyone,
First I must apologise for my shocking photography. I tried several times and this is my best effort!
I have made a pocket letter for my last Vera Lane Studio post. I had great fun doing this and have used several sets of design images.
The little dancer, the cat and the first sentiment are from Just Dance.
The pig is from Bacon Bits
The rainbow sentiment is from Raven and Pixie
The rainbow is from Unicorn and Pegasus
The gorgeous flowers in the centre are from Kokeshi Dolls
The girl holding the flowers is from Whimsical Girl and her Shar Pei
The 'Always Believe' sentiment is from Apple
I am not sure which set 'Love' is in, I have got it with Just Fly, but it's not in there.
Thanks for looking

Just Dance - Too cute!
Hi everyone,
Today's inspiration for Vera Lane Studios is a journal page using the new image set Just Dance. How cute is this??
I have stenciled the background using a home made brick stencil. The cute little dancers are practicing inside the dance studio. The dancers, the sentiment and the door are from the Just Dance set, the flowers are from the Blooms set and the window is from the Windows set.
Thanks for looking, see you next week for my final Guest designer post.

Something Different
Hello everyone,
Sunday again and week 3 of my Vera Lane Sunday Guest Designer for July.
I have tried something different today and completely out of my comfort zone!! It's a peek a boo card. I nearly gave up so many times because it didn't work properly but decided that I had invested too much time in it to give up.

This is the front..
This is inside and
This is the card in action.
I followed a tutorial found on you Tube for the 'engineering' of the card
The corner flowers at the bottom and the frames for the "windows" were cut with a die. The 3 flowers at the top were cut on my silhouette machine.
The sentiment is from the Kokeshi dolls set.
The image inside is from Whimsical Girl and her Shar pei, she is coloured with Copics.

Gorgeous Kokeshi Dolls
My second post as Sunday guest designer for Vera Lane Studios and I get to play with this gorgeous set of images. It was such fun!
I have used Sakura from Kokeshi Dolls and supersized her (she is just over 4 inches tall). I wanted flowers on her kimono so I took the lone flower that comes with the set and copied and pasted it onto her kimono several times. I coloured her with Copics and then fussy cut. The flowers at the corner are also the lone flower from the set but I have grouped three together this time. Coloured and fussy cut. I couldn't find a nice patterned paper for the image so I have again taken the three flowers used at the corner, reduced the size and copied and pasted to make my own background. I have coloured them to match Sakura. The sentiment is also from the set.
This set is so versatile, head over to VeraLaneStudio now and get a set for yourself.
Thanks for looking and I hope I have inspired you to create

My 1st Sunday inspiration for Vera Lane Studio
Hello everyone,
Today I am super excited to show my first Sunday Guest Designer post for Vera Lane Studio.
I have chosen to start simple to show just how versatile the images are. I have made 2 tags using the Blooms set of digital stamps.
For the first one I have inked the background with distress inks and then taken two of the designs from this set, enlarged them and then printed onto the tag. Add some matching ribbon and hey presto, it's complete. How simple was that?
For the second tag I have covered the base with a text patterned paper from my stash. Taken another of the blooms designs, enlarged one and made one smaller. I coloured them with Copics and then fussy cut them. I attached the smaller one to the stem of the larger one and stuck them to the tag. There is silver twine wrapped around the bottom of the tag. I have added a matching ribbon and a piece of the silver twine and we have another completed tag.
The theme this month is "Blossom" and I hope you agree these fit the theme nicely.
You will finds the Blooms set of images here
